Amelia is a Penultimate student from Singapore Management University, with a double major in Finance and Sustainability. She is a firm believer that finance is one of the key drivers towards sustainability and a low carbon society, especially when capital is allocated to the right places. With a desire to learn more about the sustainable finance space, she took up an Internship with Panarchy Partners, with the intention of understanding sustainable finance through the lens of a fund manager. In her spare time, she enjoys catching up with family and friends, and is constantly in the lookout for new dessert places. 

 

'My time with Panarchy Partners has been nothing short of amazing. This internship has given me the opportunity to learn more about Sustainable Investing, a better understanding the different components of ESG, and knowing how different industries play an important role towards sustainable development. Throughout the past 10 weeks, I learnt how to determine a company's ESG efforts and initiatives using Panarchy's proprietary Resilience Framework, which gave me a holistic view of what it means for a company to be committed to their target goals. I was also fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute to the establishment of the Asian Environmental Action Fund, with a focus on the Built Environment. Overall, I had a great and fruitful time with Panarchy. A huge shout out to the Panarchy team for this wonderful internship experience!'
